تیری تلاش میں میرا وجود ہی نہ رہا
تباہ کر گئی میری ہستی کو آرزو تیری

Teri talash mein, mera wujood he na rha
Taba kar gai meri hasti ko arzoo teri


 


حسن والے جب توڑتے ہیں دِل کسی کا
بڑی سادگی سے کہتے ہیں مجبور تھے ہم

Husn waly jab tortay hain,dil kisi ka 
bari sadagi sy kehty hain majboor thy hum


 

آئینے اور دل کا ایک ہی فسانہ ہے
انجام دونوں کا ٹوٹ کر بکھر جانا ہے

“Aaine aur dil ka ek hi fasaana hai,
Anjaam dono ka toot kar bikhar jaana hai


 

ایک روز آئے گا کوئی فرصت لے کر
ایک روز ہم کہیں گے ضرورت نہیں رہی

Ek roz aayega koi fersat le kar,
Ek roz hum kahin jayenge, zaroorat nahi rahi


 

کہاں سے لاؤں ہر روز اک نیا دل
توڑنے والوں نے تو تماشہ بنا رکھا ہے

Kahan se laaun har roz ek naya dil,
Todne waalon ne to tamasha bana rakha hai


 

تیری تلاش میں میرا وجود ہی نہ رہا
تباہ کر گی میری ہستی کو آرزو تیری
  

main aapakee talaash mein maujood nahin tha

tumhaaree ichchha mere astitv ko nasht kar degee


 

صرف دل کا حقدار بنایا تھا تمہیں 
حد ہو گئی تم نے تو جان بھی لے لی
 
srif  dil ke hakadaar bnaya ta
had ho gaee, toone bhee jaan le lee


 

دے کے دل ہاتھ ترے اپنے ہاتھ
ہاتھ پر ہاتھ دھرے بیٹھے ہیں

 de kr  dil apane haathon mein de do
 haath par haath dhare baithe hain





جڑتے ہوئے دیکھا نہیں ٹوٹے ہوئے دل کو
گر جائیں جو آنسو تو اٹھا ئے نہیں جاتے

 mainne toote hue dil ko judate nahin dekha
un aansuon ko gira do jo nahin uthate

 


آنکھوں کے قریب تو نہیں لیکن
میرے دل کے بہت قریب ہو
 
haalaanki aankhon ke kareeb nahin
mere dil ke bahut kareeb raho
